Baked potatoes

Servings: 4

Time: 45 minutes

Difficulty level: easy

Ingredients:

4 medium-sized potatoes
3 tablespoons of olive oil
4 tablespoons of butter
salt and pepper
tablespoon of sugar
a few twigs of fresh thyme

Recipe:

Recipe is for potatoes in their so-called uniforms, so each potato has to be washed thoroughly before cooking. Cooking: boil the potatoes first, then toss them into a salted and sweetened boiling water and cook until slightly softened. Cooking time is difficult to establish, since it depends on the potato size. However, 10 minutes is the minimum. After this time, check with the tip of your knife if the potatoes need more time. Take out of the water and drain. Preheat oven to 220 degrees.

Put the potatoes in a bowl, add olive oil, salt, pepper and a bunch of fresh thyme. Slightly toss the bowl while stirring until the ingredients combine. Spread the potatoes on baking paper and bake for 20 minutes or until potato skin is golden and crispy. Take out of the oven and turn around. Put back in the oven and bake for another 10 minutes. Before serving, cut every potato into 4 pieces and serve with a tablespoon of butter. It’s a great addition to many recipes. Those will be definitely the best potatoes you’ve ever had!
